An Intimate Wedding at Combermere Abbey, Whitchurch
Helen and Sam.. what can I say?! I have never seen a couple more in love than these two.. watch the film and I think you will agree. From the first email Helen sent to me I knew she was someone I was going to click instantly with, and I knew her wedding was going to be something really special. Helen requested that I spent a bit of time on the morning with both her and Sam getting some extra audio for the film, the results speak for themselves; the intimacy this adds to the beginning of the film is something as a videographer I can usually only a dream of! (Future couples if you want to take lead from Helen and Sam just let me know!) I asked them both the same set of questions and I was surprised to see how well their answers fit together and sometimes were exactly the same, it just cemented in my head how loved up they were... and that's before I heard their personalised vows, pass me the tissues! Their wedding was really intimate with just close family attending, it was my smallest ever wedding, but Combermere Abbey adapted to this perfectly. I have been to the venue once before for a wedding with about 100 guests and I was so impressed with how perfectly the venue worked for both different types of weddings. It is definitely in my top 3 venues now. Helen and Sam went for an orange colour scheme, again a first for me! Their floral displays were almost tropical featuring lots of birds of paradise which just looked amazing. The orange theme continued in the details such as Helen's shoes (which I wanted to pinch!) and even stitching on Sam's shirt. Everything had been thought out and planned so well, and it was just an honour to be part of such a beautiful, beautiful day. I think I've rambled on enough, so without further ado I give you Mr & Mrs Gatt..
