A September wedding at Oulton Hall, Leeds
October 14, 2016
Hello and happy Friday!
This weekend is one of those rare ones where I don't have any weddings, which is a blessing in disguise as I've been ill all week and I'm still coughing away, so it's the perfect opportunity for me to stay indoors and get on with editing before my two weddings next weekend.
Tonight's loveliness comes in the form of Lucy and Luke's gorgeous wedding at Oulton Hall from a few weeks ago. Lucy booked me well over a year ago so I felt like I was attending an old friend's wedding rather than working. We also have really similar tastes so I spent the day swooning over all her gorgeous decorations.
Although I have been to Oulton Hall a few times before it was my first time shooting at the venue; it is a beautiful stately home which has been decorated with a real contemporary yet classic feel.
Lucy and Luke had a really classic colour scheme of silver, blush pink and white. They had tons of candles (which is always a winner in my books!) and loads of little extra details; unfortunately they don't feature too much in the trailer, even though I got tons of footage of them, but I just couldn't get enough of how cute Luke and Lucy were together so I had to include lots of footage of the happy couple.
It was my first time working with the super talented Barnaby Aldrick, I've seen his work a lot on Facebook and really really love it so I was very excited to work along side him. Barnaby didn't disappoint! He was such a lovely guy, and I loved his natural style, it suited my way of working perfectly.
A final mention has to go to the speeches, they were so special and I will remember them for a very long time. We went on a massive rollercoaster of emotions during them, they were really raw and from the heart which are my favourite types of speeches, so I am really looking forward to getting to work on them for the feature film.
So without further a do here is a sneak preview of the New Mr and Mrs Crossley's big day, enjoy!
