Today my heating went on for the very first time this season, as much as I love summer I adore the romance of autumn; big knits, wellies, cold nights, the excitement for bonfire night and Christmas.
I also love seeing how my autumnal brides tie the season in to their wedding. One of my couples decor from last year really stands out in my mind, Jess and Ollie, who got hitched at the beautiful Utopia at Broughton Hall.
Jess is a wedding photographer herself (Jessica.J Photography - check her out!) so I had no doubt that her wedding would be amazing, but she really blew my socks off.
She had huge urns in the centre of her tables filled with gorgeous flowers in orange hews, her table numbers were written on pumpkins and there were tons of quirky little details.
However the most impressive part of Jess's decor was the ceiling! She had hung up tons of ornate umbrellas, lanterns and origami swans.
Jess and Ollie themselves were a dream to film, they were both gorgeous people on the inside and out. I often have a really close bond with my brides, however mine and Jess's bond blossomed in to a beautiful friendship which I cherish dearly.
It's now only 1 week until their wedding anniversary (how fast has this year gone?!).
So, pop your kettle on, get snuggled on the sofa and dive in to Jess and Ollie's big day. WARNING - it is a tear jerker!
